The ISHC News was for many years a slick magazine published six times per year. But
starting in January 2006, it has been published as an online magazine. You will find
further information about the new format on the Home page.
The magazine has standard
features. These include:
- Area news. The United States is divided into eight regions with reporters from each
region. In addition, there are regions covering Canada, Great Britain and the rest of
the world.
- Obedience and Training issues written by a person who has successfully obtained
advanced obedience titles on his or her Siberian Huskies.
- Show tips written to assist the conformation exhibitor.
- Let's Talk it Over - a column that addresses your questions and concerns relating to
the Siberian Husky. These vary from successfully managing a number of Siberian Huskies
together to training them for weight pull competition.
- Genetics - addresses health concerns. These issues assist both the breeder and the
Siberian Husky owner.
- Legislation/Welfare - this column alerts the membership to trends in legislation that
may affect your ownership of a Siberian Husky.
- Specialty and race results List of rescue dogs that need homes.
- List of members who advertise their kennels
- List of sled dog clubs
- And much more!
The magazine features pictures and articles that you will not find anywhere else.
Throughout the year you will learn historical information about the fascinating
Siberian Husky as well as late-breaking news.
